I disagree with an author I once considered my favourite!

There's this poem called If Mice Could Roar by Ruskin Bond, which I just came across... It says:

Nature is good the way it is. What fun would it be for mice to roar, or for a tortoise to run? It would be monsoon all year long, if a songs brought showers! How can once expect the world to be nicer that way?
Anyway, I admit, it's just an art of poetry that Sir Ruskin Bond has portrayed. I just want to express my views. What right would I have, to offend a poem selected as one among the best of Ruskin Bond's?
It's just that India, being a democratic country, allows its citizens to voice their opinions, and I am making the most of this freedom :D

Please comment, isn't this something nice to discuss about?!
